How to Use the Standing Order Tool
Getting Started
Before using the tool, ensure that all required data is saved on the Ship’s Data page 💾. This preliminary data is essential for completing your Standing Orders.
Step 1: Fill in Required Details 📝
The tool guides you step-by-step to fill in the necessary fields for creating Standing Orders. Input the following details:
Ship’s Position: Enter the vessel's current position 🌍.
Actual Weather: Record the present weather conditions 🌦️.
Ship Status/Operation: Specify the ship's status or ongoing operation (e.g., cargo loading, at anchor).
Duty Officer: Input the name of the duty officer to whom the form will be issued 🛳️.
Issued Date and Time: Record the date and time when the Standing Orders are issued.
Standing Orders: Use this section to write your orders clearly and concisely ✍️.
Step 2: Use Buttons for Efficient Data Management
The tool provides buttons to help you easily manage your entries:
Add: Add new sections or entries as needed ➕.
Delete Exact: Delete specific entries if required ❌.
Delete All: Remove all entries with one click 🗑️.
Save: Save your data to ensure everything is recorded for future reference 💾.
Step 3: Add Remarks (Optional)
Below the main fields, there’s a Remarks field where you can add additional comments or notes, if necessary 📖.
Step 4: Access Your Personal Record Book 📘
At the top of the page, you’ll find a Book Icon. Clicking this icon opens your Personal Record Book, where you can keep private notes or records related to your Standing Orders 🔒.
Step 5: Print or Save Standing Orders 🖨️
Once all fields are completed and saved:
Click the Print button at the bottom of the page to generate the Standing Orders Printout Form 📄.
In the top-right corner of the printout page, click the Printer Icon to either print the form directly or save it as a PDF.
