How the Ship Reminder Tool Works

1️⃣ Set Local Time and UTC Offset

When you first access the tool, it asks for the UTC offset to display the local time.

• Important: Ensure your device's UTC time is accurate.

  • If your device UTC time is set incorrectly, it may cause deviations in reminders.

  • Adjust your device's UTC time in the settings or proceed with the current time understanding its limitations.

• Reminder Logic: The tool always uses the UTC Date and Time from the first line for checking and activating reminders.

2️⃣ Create a Task

Once the UTC/local time is understood, proceed to create a task:

• Add Task Information: You can save a task with details without setting a date or time for the reminder.

• Set Reminder Time: Use the formats:

  • Date: DD.MM.YYYY

  • Time: HH:MM

3️⃣ Set Reminder Repeats

You can choose how often the reminder repeats:

• Daily

• Weekly

• Monthly

• Yearly

• Or leave it blank for a one-time notification.

4️⃣ Receive Notifications

• When the set time arrives, the tool will display a notification with:

  • UTC Date and Time

  • Task Information

• If you were offline during the reminder time, the tool will display missed notifications the next time it is opened.

5️⃣ Manage Tasks and Logs

• Delete Individual Tasks: Use the bin icon below the task.

• Clear History Logs: Use the Clear button under the log window to remove all past reminders.
